DescriptionArthur Adams original preliminary cover art for X-Men Annual #12 from 1988. It features the main central image on the cover, with a great straight-on view of all the team members of the Uncanny X-Men together springing into action. You can see each defined character, with Wolverine right in front with claws extended, and surrounded by Dazzler, Psylocke, Havok, Collosus, Storm, Longshot, and Rogue. There is a small stain near the top right corner, and a few small tape pieces at the top left and right corners, and at the bottom middle edge, where there is also a small piece out of the paper. These condition notes are not really an issue since they are not near the actual art area of the page, and were done in transferring the prelim art to the final piece. The piece is done on a paper sheet measuring approximately 11" by 8 3/8", and is signed and dated by Art Adams near the lower left corner. The piece appears to be done in blue pencil and black pen.Social/Sharing |
