Description

This is one of Phil's earlier Johnny Badhair paintings (when Johnny still wore a shirt) and is the first painting we bought from him in the early 1990s. We exhibited this at Spectrum Live show with his new 6' BH painting: at one point I looked across the hall and Phil appeared to be painting on it. !!! "Don't worry: I'm just fixing something. It'll be better," he said. It turned out that he was only applying some extra varnish to a spot that was a little thin on the robot's head. Whew! We were worried for a minute...
