DescriptionJeff isn't selling any pages from his original graphic novel The Underwater Welder. He's keeping them all for his son, which I think is really cool. The over-sized 11.5 x 19 painting used for the signed and numbered Underwater Welder bookplate was donated to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund's Live Art Auction at SDCC 2012. I couldn't make it to the live event, so I put in a proxy bid and let it ride... :)This is a brilliant, powerful and touching graphic novel that everyone, comics and non-comics fans alike, should read. I'm honored to own this piece of art. The Underwater Welder was nominated for a Harvey Award for Best New Graphic Novel in 2013. Social/Sharing |

Great meeting you! I'm really enjoying SWEET TOOTH and look forward to reading this. Thought Lemire's piece for last year's auction was the highlight, too. Congrats!

This is a great piece. I had been looking around for Underwater Welder pages for sale. While I wish I could buy one I have to appreciate why he is holding onto them. Thanks for sharing this with the community.
