Description

After Judy was found in Walt Wallet's car, his wife, Phyllis, went back and forth on whether she wanted to adopt the baby. When told of the situation, the Wallets' neighbor, Doc, said he would make sure that Phyllis would want the baby. He accomplished this by anonymously applying to adopt Judy himself, thereby creating the competition which assured Phyllis' desire for the baby. Doc then withdrew from the competition, which guaranteed the happy result shown in this important strip.

The original title for this strip was �The high pressure salesman."

Love that sudden appearance by Doc. I was bidding on half the strips you finally won including this one. No wonder I hardly managed to get anything : )
