Description

Writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon made for one of the best collaborative creative teams in modern comics. They hooked me with their work on Hellblazer, so I followed them to Preacher and The Punisher, and I was never disappointed.

Now, this page, though from an issue written by Ennis, is *not* by Dillon. Instead, Ennis's creative partner from Hitman, John McCrea, joins him in the Marvel Universe, but it's clear he was striving to maintain a consistent look, adapting his work to achieve a Dillon-esque style. Nevertheless, McCrea's own style comes through in the last two panels on the page.

The page was inked by Allen Martinez of Crime Lab Studios, thus the sticker in the upper right corner of the page.
