Spider-Girl hit just the right note in a number of ways. It carried on the traditions of the original Silver Age Spidey stories, and it offered a strong female hero without sexualizing her. It was a great return to old-school super-hero storytelling.

What attracted me to this page when I saw it on eBay (aside from the incredibly reasonable price) was that it was a piece of Pat Olliffe art. Olliffe's work is clean and attractive, and his lithe figures making for great super-hero action.

Nova the Human Rocket brings a lot of energy to this page, and I really like the background detail in every panel.
