Description
Another fantastic action page from the Punisher Annual 1 by Remender & Pearson.

Spidey decides Frank Castle needs to be stopped once and for all!

Again, the storytelling is splendid, intelligent and the art so pure.

You can really feel the punch in panel one. When you open to that panel from the previous page you just flipped, you can't help but think/say "ouch" as you feel the violence of it. Said violence which is accentuated in panel 2 which sees Frank Rolling from its impact. Panel 3 shows a very dark Spidey, decided to what needs to be done to stop the Punisher. The strong use of shadows and the cross hatching on him really underlines that. And again, in panel 4, we see Spidey is not kidding regarding his intentions with maybe a little nod to the cover of Action Comics 1? ;)

What an artist and storyteller!

The very best modern artist in my book

As nice as that top panel is, I really love the shadow work in that third panel. Very nice page Frederic, congratulations!
