Description

Adding a commission by the brilliant Trevor Von Eeden to my Common Elements gallery was the fulfillment of a long-held dream. A clash between hammer-slingers Thor and Steel seemed the perfect project for Trevor's powerful pencil. When he e-mailed me to alert me that the piece was done, Trevor warned me that he had taken the opportunity to insert his own editorial perspective about the likely outcome of such a duel. Need I say that his opinion was exactly right?

Thanks to Bob Shaw at Serendipity Art Sales for making this commission happen. I commissioned industry inking legend Joe Rubinstein to finish Trevor Von Eeden's original pencil art. Joe's bold inks complement Trevor's pencils perfectly. You can find a scan of the original pencil art in the Pencil Originals gallery.
