Description

Well, Greg Rucka certainly is a great writer.

Weird story. If memory serves, Greg was signing at the DC booth alongside Darick Robertson when I approached Darick for a sketch (see the Wolverine sketch in this same gallery). After Darick was done, Rucka insisted on being included in the sketchbook and its "Ouch" theme. This is the result. Rucka and Robertson would go one a couple of years later to work together on a relaunched Wolverine ongoing series.

It's easily the worst sketch in the book, but also a great one given the story of its inclusion.

Obtained at Comic-Con International San Diego in 2000.
