Description

Although I'm not a fan of artists who insist on signing art inside the image area (Sal Buscema, step forward!), and despite the fact that Drake signed this one on Juliet's face, my eye is still drawn to the center of her face first, while the inscription shows through in my peripheral vision. That's why I didn't hesitate to purchase this example. Drake did a great job with the composition and having Juliet in 2 of the 3 panels, with the middle panel being as beautiful as it is, owning this was still a no brainer.

Wow! Great strip. What a shame about the misplaced dedication. I love portraits in strip art and this is certainly a nice one but the other 2 panels are beautiful as well. Nice find.

Now that's a big tattoo right in the middle of the face, far ahead of his time... still a very nice example of Stan Drakes great draftsmanship.

Nope! Read the first sentence of my description for my feelings on the matter. I wouldn't want to lose the inscription, anyway. It's all part and parcel of the piece's long history and I want it to remain preserved.
