Watercolor on board - 10 x 13,5 inches
1940's. Signed "Thomas".

Lovely old pin up-painting of a femme fatale wrapping her christmas gifts.
I take it this was used as a magazine illustration - although I really can't say for sure.

She reminds me of one of Will Eisner's lovely dames from the Spirit, only fully painted in incredible detail.
If anyone on CAF knows anything about this artist, please let me know. I'm mystified... in every way!
