DescriptionHere's a great daily I'm thrilled to have acquired! Not only are the two central characters, Mary and Pete, prominently shown in the first and second panels, but they're both also book ended by Pete's first boss at View Magazine, Andrew Cardel in the first panel and by perhaps the coolest recurring character, Johnny Q!As if that weren't already good enough, this is an extremely early daily from 1959! Dailies predating 1964 are fairly tough to find in general, but examples from the 1950's are almost as rare as hen's teeth. Social/Sharing |
