Description

Dave Stevens created an iconic character when he gave us the first chapter of the Rocketeer opus. I commissioned multi talented artist Steven Butler to do a tribute commission honoring Dave. The piece came up aces! Steven captured the spirit of the character, and era, perfectly. Thanks Steven for this fantastic piece.

VERY COOL! I'm waiting on my commission by Steven right now. He certainly NEVER leaves one wondering about the effort he puts into his work! He seems to give his all to everything he does!

Thanks everyone for your comments. Rob, I know you have some great pieces by Steven in your collection. You are correct about the wonderful vitality of his work. The work never disappoints the viewer, and you can feel the fun he has in creating each piece! We need more of that spirit in the comics of today.
