Description

I first became aware of Wilfredo Torres by way of his Lobster Johnson work. The beautiful use of black and white areas captivated me. His current work on the Shadow continues to impress. I thought Wilfredo would be the perfect artist to illustrate a piece showcasing one of my favorite films. This is the result. A great look at all of the main characters from Hammett/Huston's "The Maltese Falcon." You can almost feel the San Francisco fog drifting over "The stuff that dreams are made of..."
