DescriptionAn October 2005 purchase from Al Gross -- the life model for Al the Bartender in Liberty Meadows! This was the third of three pages that Al and Frank Cho did as a pitch for doing TARZAN early on in Dark Horse's period as publisher. Dark Horse, nixed the project, but hired Al as a writer for the series, but weren't interested in hiring Frank... Oh brother! the final panel was inked by Frank and was used as the final illustration in Al Gross' story "Bride of the Beast Man" in TITANIC TALES.Social/Sharing |
