Description

Writer/artist Brahm Revel is likely best known for his creator-owned series "Guerillas," but recently brought his own spin to Marvel's newly-reestablished Marvel Knights line with "Marvel Knights: X-Men," which took Wolverine, Rogue and Kitty Pryde on a trip to small-town Appalachia in search of new mutants. While on the hunt, all signs point to another darker force at work -- and the X-Men are pulled in to investigate.

Fresh off that run, I feel very fortunate that Brahm still had some creative X-juices flowing and felt that Wolverine would be a perfect candidate to claim the throne. To say he captured the essence of Logan's character wouldn't be too far off, sitting comfortably, but not at ease, smoking a stogie, but ready to rip your head off at any minute. I love what Brahm did with this piece!

Not familiar with the artist. Might have to check his X-men work out at my LCS. I really like the brooding look on Wolverines face! Another worthy addidtion to your Iron Throne collection Josh!

WOW! Not sure how I missed this one. Revel did an excellent job and Logan is a great fit for his gritty style.
