We purchased this on the road last year during our ROUTE 66 trip (CHICAGO to LA) from Anthony Collectibles thanks to being on his mailing list. It actually made home before we did. Check out the exquisite line work on the elephant. Maurice Whitman did a large percentage of the covers for FICTION HOUSE and is one of the forgotten greats from the golden age of comics! Just a prime example that great comic art doesn't need capes and masks;)
