Description

After finishing the Man Without Fear concept sketch, I thought I'd try my luck with his counterpart, the Greek assassin Elektra Natchios. I aimed for seductive but deadly, and am thankful I got the right mix of both. Etched on 9 x 12 sketch paper, I used 4H for flesh tones with 2H outlining the shades, and 2H and H for the red tones. Admittedly needed to reference to get the abdomen right; drawing women is still a learning curve for me after all these years. If you look at my early work you'd see. I'm especially proud of the hair and the eyes. I'm looking forward to working on this piece whenever I can work it in.
