Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Featuring Alfred E. Neuman Original Art dated 7-5-1973 (United Feature Syndicate) by Charles Schulz, who was a one-time contributor and longtime fan of MAD. Schulz regularly sent drawings as Letters to the Editor, and had one strip published as part of an article in MAD #89. This Peanuts daily artwork is warmly inscribed to MAD and EC editor Al Feldstein, and comes with the original mailing envelope from Schulz dated August 1973, a month after it was published. It was consigned by Al's daughter to Heritage's July 2014 auction, and from the moment I saw it I was determined to win it.
