DescriptionI started collecting original art in hopes to one day own a piece from the spectacular Hellboy Universe; I never once thought I'd own a cover by Mike Mignola. I'd like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Mignola for giving me the opportunity to own such a fantastic piece. I promise this cover is going to a good home where it will remain for a long time to come.B.P.R.D. is one of my all time favorite comics with 1946, and 1947 being near the top of the many excellent stories within the series. I really enjoy these past historical set pieces, and this cover does an amazing job of taking some of the best tidbits from the stories including Hellboy during his pancake days, Professor Bruttenholm, an awesome giant bat creature, a neat little mushroom cloud, krigaffee, and to top it all off gothic skulls and statues. The book with this cover is now published and available at a comic shop near you. Social/Sharing |

Very rare to see the young Hellboy on a Mignola cover, and there's a moving sadness on the professor's face.

That is my favorite bat that I have seen Mignola draw! Congrats on such an amazing cover!!!

Thanks so much again Rob for all the kind words. If you have not read this book BPRD 1946 yet I'd recommend especially if you enjoy any form of WW2 era stories that deal with the occult.
