THE NEXT GENERATION PATLABOR / PATOLEIBAH SHUTO KESSEN

Patlabor (Patrol & Labor) is a well known manga/anime/etc. series and now it is a live action series. Called The Next Generation Patlabor, the project started off as a 12-episode series shown in theatrical screenings and the finale is this, a feature film which (I think) says it is "The Decisive Battle for the Capital." I'm not all that familiar with it, to be honest, but the series is considered a sequel to the original Patlabor movie timeline. It stars one-time pop star (that's an ubiquitous turn of phrase in Japanese media these days), Erina Mano, as pilot Akira Izumino, Seiji Fukushi as Yūma Shiobara, Rina Oota as Ekaterina Krachevna Kankaeva ("Kasha"), Shigeru Chiba (reprising his anime role as Chief Shigeo Shiba) and Toshio Kakei as Captain Keiji Gotōda.
