I made the bottom of Arthur Adams commission list at Big Wow 2015. At the end of the show I went to his table to see if he ever got a chance to work on my Poison Ivy piece. I saw him drawing her and got excited because he told me he probably wasn't going to be able to get to it. So I waited a little bit longer and the piece was finished. When I asked him if he got a chance to do my piece he said "no". The Poison Ivy he was doing is someone else's commission who just happened to choose the same character as me. But then Arthur tells me since the guy who commissioned this piece never came to pick it up that I could have it. Not only could I have it but at a discounted price. So after 4 straight years of trying at Big Wow to get on Arthur's commission list I finally got one of own. One man's loss is another man's gain. :) Thanks Arthur.

Exactly the same thing happened to me some years ago, at a comic convention here in Italy... Although, sadly, the artist wasn't Art Adams :) Congrats on this beautiful and lucky addition!

Arthur Adams is a great talent and thoughtful towards his fans. He remembered me through multiple unsuccessful efforts at various cons. When he didn't quite like the finished piece, he gave me a break on the original quoted price. Congratulations on a great Poison Ivy.
