Description

Jeffrey Brown is one of my favorite creators working in comics. I use creator because he writes, design and illustrates all his own work. His recent fame on the Star Wars books is well due. There are many quiet and endearing moments in his books that make you smile or cringe or both.

At C2E2, I ran into Scott Eder who sells Jeffrey's work for him. He had these wonderful process packs Jeffrey puts together. It is like a mystery grab bag. In each there are about a dozen items. Usually 2 or 3 nearly finished or finished pieces, some layouts, some jot notes and a few pages of random scripts. They are brilliant. Neat art. Fun insight into the mind and process of an artist. I picked up 3 of these packs. You can see the art in the 5 posts here but know there are over a dozen layout sheets, notes and scripts I didn't scan. In the two partial scripts I scanned, take a moment to read them to get a sense of what Jeffrey does in his comics.
