This is my favorite piece from the 5th annual Microvisions show & auction to benefit the Society of Illustrators scholarship fund.
Cranes in Japanese culture & mythology represent happiness & long life, so it seems appropriate that this was my husband's gift to me for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Nine cranes total...lots of happiness. Not sure about the weir baby...I'll have to ask Michael about him.

Today (6/15/15) is our 30th Anniversary. The happiness continues ... :)
