DescriptionIt's an amazing who's who in comics that have put pencil to paper to bring Dr. Strange to life: Ditko, Colan, Brunner, Smith, Golden, just to name a few, so to have one of those legends synonymous with the good doctor contribute to my "Iron" Throne theme was almost too good to be true and certainly an immense honor. Speaking with Frank while he worked on this piece cemented my regards for both him and his amazing pencils. And not only was I lucky enough to get this outstanding piece with Dr. Strange, but it also includes a very special guest star, also linked to Frank's career at Marvel, in Howard the Duck! Poor Howard, stuck above in the Orb of Agamotto!Social/Sharing |

Frank does wonderful work and this is a terrific example. I really like HtD trapped in the globe. Nice mix of his most famous work. Congratulations.

As you can see from Frank's first layout, the Doc and Duck make for a strange pairing ( no pun intended). The second layout and the finished piece brought the two together in a more cohesive and humorous way.

Howard -- trapped in an Orb he never made! Excellent design and execution by the estimable Mr. Brunner.

Nothing short of spectacular here. While I wasn't a huge Howard fan, Frank's Doctor Strange is legendary with me! Congrats brother!

A Brunner Doc Strange piece is mind-blowing enough. But having Howard on the same piece just puts it right over the top! WOW!

A beautiful addition to your theme. Brunner still has it. Congrats.

By the three eternal Vishanti! You got two great characters by one great artist. (And yeah, the second layout definitely works better, especially from a design aspect.)
