JOHN BYRNE FANTASTIC FOUR #275 ORIGINAL ART PAGE 21 - SHE-HULK REED SUE FRANKLIN 1985

Classic original art page from the Fantastic Four #275, published by Marvel Comics in February of 1985. This is Pg. 21 from the classic story "The Naked Truth", written by John Byrne and inspired by Kevin Nowlan, and is a classic Epilog page, featuring Sue Storm (Invisible Girl), Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), their son Franklin Richards, Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), and the Sensational She-Hulk! The artwork is by one of the greatest of all-time, John Byrne. Byrne is a true legend spanning 4 decades in comics, and known for his classic runs on the Uncanny X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and She-Hulk, as well as for revamping the Man of Steel during DC's overhaul of the Superman character in the 1980's. Vintage pages from Byrne's all-time classic run on The World's Greatest Comic Magazine are getting tougher and tougher to find, especially high quality examples that so prominently feature all the main characters from the team together on one page, and Byrne's art has grown exponentially in demand and value. And for many collectors, his 80's FF pages are the greatest and most desirable work of his long and distinguished career. The page has some slight yellowing to the paper, and a slight indentation crease mark from the back of the page near Franklin's left hand (holding the Iron Man figure, not Spiderman figure) in the second panel. The page has clipped corner edges, which you sometimes see on original art from this era as a result of being used in production. It goes without saying that 1980's Byrne FF pages are highly sought-after, so to get a piece of this quality is difficult, as they rarely appear on the open market, and with Byrne FF being so heavily collected, once pieces go into collections they do not come out again. This is an exceptional piece of John Byrne Fantastic Four artwork, that would look amazing framed and prominently displayed.
