'Judges out'

Joe, Babs and Hilda. And a great bit of graffiti.
A superb page direct from John Burns, who still continues to draw for the Galaxy's greatest comic.
When this page first saw print back in '91, the technology in regards to reproducing colour art was still in its infancy in the UK, and the everything then was muted and 'brown'.

But seeing the original art first hand, the first thing that strikes you is just how incredibly vibrant the colours are,and how they really stand out.
A real treat.

The art also comes from a time when the lettering was no longer applied directly to the page. When I get chance I'll post a scan of the page plus the transparent overlay it came with.
