Okay...

I've always preferred having my own commissions done by artists, because in my mind, they are not really mine if someone else "ordered" the art to their specs.

BUT... then I woke up in the real world.

While the above is still true in my mind, some artists are just simply not available (in more ways than one) OR there's just that certain piece that's already been commissioned that just speaks out to me.

Stelfreeze unavailable and cost is high now... (Have a Laci from another collector. Thanx, Conny!)

Humberto Ramos... (Have a Blade that has always been a HUGE fave of mine. Thanx, Joe!!)

This one has not really spoken to me so much as screamed.

I love this piece and always have since I became a member of CAF in 2005.

I feel very privileged to own this as Dave doesn't really like to sell art that belongs in his themed galleries AND, according to Dave, it was the only commission that Jason was able to get to at SDCC 2003.

Thanx so much, Dave. She really has been an all time fave of mine on all of CAF.

Oh... Almost forgot. Dave thought she may have been in one of Jason's old sketch books.

IF she is, she's in the 2006 one as that's the only one I don't own.

Please LMK if she is?

UPDATE: June 26th, 2017. Have found a 2006 sketchbook so you can all stop looking for me! ;)

I can't believe it either! I have emailed him back and forth over the years complimenting him about her and even left a few comments in his original post. Then last time I e-mailed, I finally mentioned about buying and the timing was perfect. Plus, doesn't hurt that he knows that she's with someone who is such a huge fan of Jason's work. Jealous? With YOUR collection? Man... that's high praise indeed!
