Description

This issue isn't really any great shakes but I seem to keep acquiring pages from it. This one I love. In Colan's version, Modok's face is so wide that you can't fit all of it into a single panel. On this page Modok creates a literal Golem --on the preceding page the lever-throwing AIM functionary exults: "The master has REDESIGNED the all-powerful ALTERATION CHAMBER! Now HE will create a MONSTER --out of LIFELESS CLAY!" Instead of Hebrew, Modok imprints the monster's body with his own abstruse calculations.

Nice! Colan should have made an exception and went back to large art in order to fit Modok's head ;)
