Description

Prime Johnny Hazard work from the first 3 months of the strip by Frank Robbins. Nice image of Brandy with fun dialogue. IMHO this is Frank Robbins best period. I have a Scorchy Smith that predates this and some later Johnny Hazards. I have to say 44 to 47 were the best years for Robbins. I am not a fan of his later Marvel work.

You don't see these early ones very often. Interesting to see just how strong the Caniff influence is here, Robbins hadn't quite developed his own spin on it yet.
