Description

This Disney Big cover is inspired by Rodolfo Cimino's "Zio Paperone e i Vampirobassotti" story, illustrated by Alessandro Gottardo and first published on Topolino magazine #2791 (2009).

The story has the classic Cimino touch and feel and Corrado perfectly captured the spirit with this marvelous cover that shows Uncle Scrooge and Donald trying to escape the attack of some flying Beagle Boys wearing vampire-like costumes.

Fantastic action, magnificent composition and I absolutely love the funny expressions of the characters.

As in all the other Disney Big covers, Corrado digitally colored over the scan of the finished pencils (see additional images for the published cover).

The Batman-like suit is really something and I notice that the colors used on the upper Beagle Boy are perfectly matching :) Irresistible cover by Corrado!
