DescriptionLast week at LSCC I had the pleasure of meeting David Wynne, whose work has graced the top of each episode of the excellent Jay and Miles X-Plain the X-Men podcast.David certainly not afraid to embrace the abstract (IIRC the person ahead of me had asked for a sketch of “Happiness and Sadness having had an argument now making up” which must be something of a challenge) Of late, as a Doug Ramsey fan, the past few episodes of “Xplain the X-Men” have not been easy ones (as they’ve covered New Mutants 60 to 64), and the title for episode 91 was "The Saddest Story Ever Told" (Which is hard to argue with) and had this as the header art.... Simple, powerful and terribly, terribly sad.... :( Social/Sharing |
