Description
Original wooden Mickey & Minnie Mouse just picked up at a local auction, about 4 feet tall, screen painted. Not sure if these were two halves of a store display or perhaps a bookshelf or other children's item. Dennis Books, I know you know what these are!

HI JOHNNY ...MADE BY ATLAS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY OF RICHMOND,CA.UNDER THE KROEHLER BRAND NAME IN 1934-35. THE ARMS ARE RAISED BY MICKEY AND MINNIE TO HOLD THE BAR THAT RUNS ACROSS THE TOP TO HOLD CLOTHING. THE LOWER PORTION OF THE FIGURES ARE SEPARATED BY A SLANTED WOODEN BOARD WITH LOWER RAISED EDGE INTENDED TO HOLD SHOES. I LOVE ALL THE COMPANIES FURNITURE.

Thanks!! I never knew these were made in my area in suburban Chicago. I need to find some family members associated with the company and see what they might have!
