Description

This could have been the cover of Topolino #2871 where the story "Chi ha incastrato DD?" (Who framed Double Duck?), by Teresa Radice (story/plot) and Stefano Turconi (pencils), was first published. The editorial staff decided to go with a cover showing Donald with both his 2 alternative identities (Duck Avenger and Double Duck) instead.

In the story "Chi ha incastrato DD?", Donald is arrested at his house, framed for stealing a valuable painting from a museum in Amsterdam. Kay K rescues him from the police and recruits him for a mission in the Netherlands, but she has a personal interest in this case, which involves a member of her family...

Curious fact: the published cover of Topolino #2882 by Mazzarello, inspired by the Double Duck story "Delirio su tela" published on the same issue, is stunningly similar to Turconi's (maybe they liked the concept and asked Mazzarello something similar?).

I really wanted to add something with Disney ducks illustrated by Turconi to my collection and I found this a perfect piece.
