Description

Illustration done with colored pencils on black paper for the exhibition "Out of Darkness", CArt Gallery in Rome, March 2016.

Even though Disney characters are not Dell'Otto's bread and butter, I found his rendition of Super Goof (Goofy's superhero alter ego, gets his powers, that are similar to those of Superman, by eating Super Goobers, peanuts) interesting, he's heroic and the level of detail simply amazing (you can see the strings of the flannel costume!).

Published in the catalog of the exhibition and also as IDW Disney Comics and Stories #1 as a variant cover (see additional images).

This is really terrific. Part of the reason, is that is completely original with a character never seen on CAF. Wow.
