DescriptionThis was my one pick-up from Heroes Con this year, thanks to an assist from my friend Little John. I've been wanting a DD piece for this theme and it worked out that Jason Copland was available. Jason did a really fun issue of the Man Without Fear, Daredevill #33 and he continued his Daredevil love-fest with this piece. I couldnt 't happier with how this piece turned out. Jason poured in some amazing details and a great view of Hell's Kitchen too! The scan doesn't do it justice, as he added some great watercolor highlights to the piece that just don't show up here.If you aren't familiar with his work, Jason has been published by Marvel, Image, Dark Horse and Villard/Random House, as well as in many small press publications. He's contributed work to two Eisner nominated anthologies Trickster: Native American Tales and Postcards:True Stories That Never Happened, as well as Kill All Monsters, a co-creator owned title. That's just great! ...it would have been funny if he had included a Titanium Man helmet (because how would Matt know, right?). I really love this theme- I always end up looking through all your stuff when you post these- gives me ideas on who to add to my "must have" list!

I love how this is more of a street-level version of the throne. Also really appreciate how he showed off Hell's Kitchen in the background.
