Description

The publicity drawings done by Manuel Gonzales for 1938 Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse cartoons are among the best of all drawings ever done at the Walt Disney Studios. Although it is well known that the artist was Floyd Gottfredson's successor on the Mickey Mouse Sunday pages, his outstanding work in the publicity department is still not widely acknowledged.
