DescriptionDone for the "What's Underneath" challenge for Month of Fear 2015Graphite, Charcoal and Gouache on paper 8" X 10" The idea for this piece started with the phrase "wolf in sheeps clothing", and I remembered a fairytale from my youth, in Dutch it was called "Ezelsvel", in English it’s Donkey Skin by Charles Perrault. “To conceal you, the donkey’s skin will be an admirable disguise, for when you are inside it, no one will believe that anyone so beautiful could be hidden in anything so frightful.” Social/Sharing |
