... two commissions arrive in the space of four hours!

I'd originally thought that the cover of Strange Adventures #35 might be a possible Babylon 5 commission (see elsewhere), but the more I considered it, the more I realised that the "prisoners from the worlds of the solar system" theme worked even better for the Guardians. I did think about labeling the final tube "Mercury" and putting Nikki into the "helpless female" role, but that seemed completely at odds with the character as written, so a quick gender-swap, and the distaff member of Guardians is rescuing her colleagues. And finally, the 1970's uniforms make an appearance.

(For what it's worth, I do know who the hand picking up the tube containing Martinex belongs to ... it would be a little bit more obvious in colour, but all will be revealed in a forthcoming sequel, next year [I hope - I've still got to actually do the deal]).

Excellent work from Gary Martin, who's been fantastic to deal with. Highly recommended.

This is fantastic- I'm a huge Murphy Anderson fan and really liked his Captain Comet stories (and Strange Adventures in general), so this is a fun cover for me. I love that Nikki has her older look also!
