Description

PK Giant is the reprint, on a bigger paper format, of the acclaimed "PKNA" (Paperinik New Adventures) and probably also "PK2" and "Pikappa" series.

This is the new cover to "La Notte più Buia", first published on PKNA #13, realized by the same artist that illustrated the original cover in 1998, Corrado Mastantuono.

Corrado chose a completely different composition on this new cover, hiding the Evronians (we can feel their presence from their shadows) and with a Duck Avenger ready to fight while on the background his fellow citizens seem to be abducted by means of some kind of ray.

This cover is made up of a pen and ink piece on paper plus a tissue paper overlay with pencil shading and textures.

In the additional images, the cover without the overlay and the published covers (both PKNA and PKG).

Terrific cover by Corrado! The pencil overlay with shadows and textures is truly a brilliant and unique idea: it would be very interesting to see a scan of the overlay itself :) Thanks in advance and congrats on this great addition!
