Darth Vader and Son (2012) - Luke Skywalker

In 2012, Chronicle Books brought us Jeffrey Brown's revisionist Star Wars mythos in the form of the "children's book," Darth Vader and Son. The premise of the book had Darth Vader raising his son Luke Skywalker on the Death Star (and later Leia in Vader's Little Princess) all the while maintaining his status as the Sith Lord. The book helped parents initiate their children to the obsession of Star Wars. The copy I purchased in 2015 was already in its 23rd printing. It is well known that George Lucas has purchased all the illustrations from the book, leaving fans scouring for Jeffrey Brown's prelims. Brown won an Eisner for the book in the Best Humor Publication category in 2013.
