DescriptionPage penciled by Greg Capullo and inked by Todd McFarlane. I had to start somewhere and I have been told it will be downhill from here by a friend that got me interested in this hobby.Recently, the published image of this was used on Todd McFarlane's twitter feed on June 6, 2020. Awesome piece! Chance Wolf also inked this book with Todd. Chance said they would keep giving the page back to one another at the table till it finished. Great image of Al Simmons. This was a great time during the early stages of Spawn. Congrats on a great piece of Spawn history!

Capullo got overshadowed by the planet sized popularity of Todd Mcfarlane during his run on Spawn but Greg is one of the best artists of the last 25 years. Greg's 80 plus issue monthly run never stagnated. Except Jr/Jr I don't think any monthly artist of the last 20 years has come close to the quality/quantity of Capullo's work. Mcfarlane's ink have the magic touch. He brings out the best in every penciler. Chance wolf did a great job assisting Todd here, he brought some neat effects to the page.

Absolutely incredible page. There are a number of battle splashes, Spawn with chains, sculls, etc... I can't remember seeing an image quiet like this. Frankly way way way better than so many covers for the series. Congrats!!!!
