Aha. But did he have the eye (or the cash) to buy the original art, or is he like the rest of us, sitting on a pile of comics no one wants as all people seem to collect now are key issues. My favorite is that I could not sell issue 53 of Fantastic Four in great condition but easily sold issue 52 in lesser condition. The funny thing is that issue 52 is only half the story and you need to read issue 53. Not that any of the speculators care. Lol.

I remember this page. Clea is so sweet and so beautiful. Marvel's editors must have had to have kept smelling salts on hand when Brunner turned in his pages. I know I would swoon.
It's always special to get a page from an early comic purchase, and this is a glorious page. The expression on Clea's face in the lower tier is very special.
