Description

Mick Gray is best known as an inker for Patrick Gleason on Superman most recently. He inked J. H. Williams on Promethea and Ryan Sook for various projects. I first met him at a store signing at Treasure Island Comics in Fremont, CA and we were both at an art collectors' dinner in San Jose. We are Facebook friends and I saw he went to see Disney's Moana and came home to watch Studio Ghibli's Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle with his daughter on December 26th. We agreed on commission terms and I had his Spirited Away tribute in January. Mick says he was introduced to Kiki's Delivery Service, then Spirited Away by J. H. Williams way back when. Coming up on Mick's appearance at Silicon Valley Comic Con, I asked Mick about doing another and this is the result I picked up this Friday night.
