Description

The Legion of Super-Heroes are not the only team of superheroes in the 30th and 31st Centuries, though they are the most popular. The Heroes of Lallor were tricked into battling the Legion in their first appearance, but went on to become their allies. The Heroes of Lallor could have been a great team, but a couple things held them back. Duplicate Boy is perhaps the most powerful hero in the DCU, but he's a bit of an idiot and has never reached his true potential. Beast Boy's career came to a tragic end after he went crazy. Life Lass and Gas Girl have very powerful abilities, yet seemingly not a lot of imagination in their uses. And Evolvo Lad is one of the most intelligent beings in the galaxy, so I really blame him for his team not being greater. I like the Heroes of Lallor, but they need work. Maybe one day someone will get to do a great story with them.

From left to right, here we have Gas Girl, Duplicate Boy, Beast Boy, Evolvo Lad, and Life Lass. First let me say that I don't know what these guys are standing on, but it sure looks cool! Joel always comes up with cool structures to place the squads on, and I don't point that out nearly enough. Anywho, Beast Boy is definitely my favorite here, as Joel has him looking more heroic than he ever has in the comics. Joel also did a good job with Gas Girl's gas hair. And I really like that Evolvo Lad looks so serious, and Duplicate Boy looks like a grinning idiot. Fantastic work as always, Joel!
