A wonderful example of Krigstein's story telling genius in this page from the memorable story Pipe Dream-- The story was reprinted in various EC anthologies and deservedly so-- a haunting morality tale that I remember so well 40+ years after i first read it as a child. I am thrilled to finally have a Krigstein example in my collection, from such an esteemed story.

The mood he creates through both his choice of imagery and his inking is subtle and effective and the play of the light and shadows with the lonely figure in the last panel is masterful. A hearty congratulations.

Krigstein is an unheralded genius of the form, and Pipe Dream is one of his landmarks. Major congrats, this is what our hobby is all about!
