Description

I've been collecting art for 15 years now and one of the few objects of desire that has eluded me has been a page by Wally Wood.

Specifically, a page by Woody from THUNDER Agents or All Star Comics.

I continue to regret going to San Diego in 2005 and holding in my hands an All Star page with inks by Wood that I turned away from because there was too much blue line on the page and $350 seemed too high. Oh those were the days!

Now however thanks to to fellow CAF member Tom Benham (whose scan I am currently using) I can say grail achieved.

Sincere thanks also to Mr. 2 in 1 who alerted me to Tom offering the page!

The GCDB lists the pencil by Wally Wood and Dan Adkins. I suspect Dan did most of the pencilling but the inks are all by Wally.

Needless to say I am thrilled to finally own a THUNDER Agents page by one of the greatest artists to ever pick up a pencil and pen.

Dinosaurs by Adkins and Wood...Absolutely incredible. I share your love for Thunder Agents (and All Star Comics) by Wood as well so I appreciate your good taste. Congratulations on such a great page.
