Description

I'm not sure who drew this cover, Joe Simon, or Al Avison.

I've found info online crediting the issue to Simon, and certain things like the cross-hatching on the dog's face, and the curly fabric folds look more like him to my eyes, but the back of the piece has Al Avison written in pencil. Who knows. Either way I'm psyched for it.

I love how weird and graphic Chester Gould's Dick Tracy was. Both Avison and Simon did it justice on these Harvey Reprint covers.

Check out the published British version where they removed the blood from the dog bite!
