Description

When I read the Ultimate End 5-issue miniseries, every time I would come across an epic double page splash with zillions of characters interacting in some way (either battling or joining forces), I would think, MAN, I hope I can snag one of those someday. When this DPS appeared in a recent ComicLink auction, I can't tell you how excited I was. SOOOOOO glad I could score this one.

The whole mini-series was bittersweet for me though, as the upshot was the end of the Ultimate Universe, which made me very sad. The consolation prize was that we got to see multiple versions of the same characters (from the two different universes) having to deal with each other, resulting in all kinds of interesting & explosive conflict. And the main saving grace was that Miles Morales ended up living in the mainstream Marvel Universe, setting up the new Spider-Man comic book. YAAAY! The cast of the Ultimate Spider-Man comics is kept as well, including Morales' mother, who had been killed in an older story arc.

Anyway, have fun drinking in all this Bagley/Hanna goodness.

Always amazed when I see a painstaking piece like this app excited sovwell by the artists and Bagley and Hanna certainly delivered a great scene of organized chaos. Bravo!
