(b. 25/5/1960, The Netherlands)

After doing various artwork for comic magazines, Eric Heuvel met Martin Lodewijk. Together they created 'January Jones', a famous female pilot in the 1930s, which was published until the end of the 1990s in the magazine Sjosji.

Eric has also been working on the project of adapting a television comedy, 'Toen was geluk nog heel gewoon', into comic form. One of his comics, 'Bud Broadway', was serialized in the newspaper Het Algemeen Dagblad. This same newspaper picked up his new strip, 'Het Geheim van de Tijd' (written by Frits Jonker), in March 2003. Eric Heuvel produced a comic for children about the Second World War, titled 'De Ontdekking', which was released in February 2003.

I'm only learning about this artist, but I like the clean lines and the old-school feel to this.
